This summer has been really great and active for me. For a minute I thought I was going to be home all the time, but instead I've stayed fairly active. I've made a real effort to go hiking and commit to walking 1/2 an hour a day with Molly. I've also been cooking pretty much every day of the week :D I've come up with some pretty delicious recipes to add to my collection. I've also been trying to stay artistically active, trying to do a little bit of something everyday. I've committed to at least 3 still lifes this summer, and I'm just about to finish the first. Also Ive been working with my tablet, finally getting around to working on sketc

Ah man... the first couple of weeks of school. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised about my two literature classes. They are very interesting, I like the professors , and the material is really nice too. Never really read anything like the stuff we've been assigned. Here is the first 2011 deviation ---> Bracelet's sketch :D It was nice to draw something for myself. I am enjoying my drawing class very much, I have a great professor, she's quite knowledgeable and approachable. My painting class is pretty nice so far too, we are working on a still life, as I image we will for the next four assignments because we bought four canvas boards. :

Hello, It's the weekend before school starts back up and I'm feeling bitter sweet about it. On one hand, I do look forward to my art classes and hopefully learn something new. But on the  other, I have a math class and two literature classes (Aka... a lot of reading and writing). Hopefully I stay organized enough to survive the semester ;P I do hope to continue submitting art at the same rate as I have been. But who knows, I have a feeling it's all going to be school work. But for now, I have a few days left before things get hectic and I will have to submit at least one more thing before schools starts. Wish me luck:)
